Pricing

Pricing that's actually on your side.

A small monthly covers the platform. A revenue share covers the rest — calculated only on what your platform actually earns. Quiet months mean cheaper months. Aligned, not adversarial.

How it works

Two parts. Both fair.

No surprise invoices. No "out of scope." No sudden upgrade tax.

Part 01

A small monthly

Covers the core platform: hosting, security, baseline support, daily backups, and 98% uptime SLA. Same fee every month — no per-seat traps, no user-count cliff.

Predictable. Budget-friendly. Scales with use, not headcount.
Part 02

A revenue share

A small percentage of revenue your platform actually earns. If the platform sleeps, the share sleeps. If it scales, we scale alongside — and you get every new feature included.

Aligned incentives. We literally don't get paid unless you grow.
Optional · Part 03

Pass-through (optional)

You can pass a small admin or transaction fee to your end-users at checkout — typically perceived as negligible. This roughly halves your net cost and keeps the model sustainable.

Used widely in member portals and shops. Entirely your call.

"When we grow together, we succeed together."

Why it matters to you

Four reasons this beats a fixed-fee build.

📉

Lower costs while you're growing

No fixed user-count cliff. No upgrade tax that punishes scale. The platform scales with you, not against you.

🌙

Quiet months = cheaper months

Seasonal? Cyclical? Slow Q1? Your tech bill drops with your revenue. We share the rhythm of your business.

🚀

No ceiling on upgrades

Want a new feature? It's already included. New AI integration? Included. Migration? Included. You're not paying us per change-request.

🤝

Aligned incentives, by design

We literally don't get paid unless you grow. That's not a slogan — it's the contract. We win when you win.

The honest comparison

Us vs. the typical agency model.

Typical agency

$20k–80k upfront, then silence.

  • Big build fee before you've seen value
  • Change-requests cost extra, every time
  • Hosting on someone else's bill
  • Vanish after launch
  • Vendor lock-in by default
  • You pay whether the platform earns or not

Profit Rocket

No upfront. We earn when you do.

  • No big build fee — start without the cliff
  • New features included, not change-requested
  • Hosting + security + uptime in the monthly
  • Same team after launch, forever if you want
  • You own the data, the code, the future
  • We get paid when your platform earns
Always included

No matter what we build, you get these.

Hosting + uptime Security + compliance Updates + new features Support, same team
Open road at dusk — Freedom
Why we priced it this way Freedom

Inspired to freedom.

My job is simple: inspire people. I have a soft spot for entrepreneurs — strange and beautiful creatures who somehow believe they can change the world. But sometimes the very thing you built to give you freedom starts running you. The big upfront-fee model is part of that trap. So we built ours around the opposite: you grow, we grow. No cliff. No lock-in. Aligned, by design.

"We're here to give entrepreneurs their freedom back."

Common questions

Pricing FAQ.

Is there a minimum term?
We typically work on a 12-month initial agreement so we can plan the build, launch, and stabilisation properly. After that it's month-to-month — you stay because it works, not because you're locked in.
What counts as "revenue" for the share?
Revenue your platform actually generates — sales through the shop, membership fees through the portal, automation-driven outcomes we can attribute. We agree the definition with you upfront, in writing. No surprises.
What if our platform plateaus or shrinks?
The share shrinks with it. That's the point — we're aligned. If we plateau together, we'll be on a call working out why, not sending bigger invoices.
Can we migrate from another platform?
Yes. Migrations from Shopify, WooCommerce, MyMembership, custom WordPress, paper, spreadsheets — we've done all of them. Migration scope is included in the initial build.
Do we own the code?
Yes. Your data, your custom code, exportable on request. Shadow-administrator GitHub access for your IT team. No lock-in. Ever.
What about tax / VAT?
Profit Rocket Ltd is a New Zealand company, NON-VAT entity (NZBN 9429047579361). Your local tax treatment depends on your jurisdiction — we'll flag the relevant bits when we send the proposal.
